James L. Tyler, better known by his stage name Dough the Freshkid was born August 11, 1987 in Gary Indiana but raised in South Central Los Angeles. His first Music appearance was with his 2010 mixtape release Million Dollar Dreams. Although he is more known from his follow up 2012 release "No More Dreams" which is currently close to 50,000 downloads on the official datpiff website.

While most rappers were out looking for records deals, DTFK decided to go to college instead to start his own independent label. After graduating from CSULA in 2009, he begin to build EPC Music Group from the ground up.

DTFK has not been on any major tours yet are hasn't released any major singles. However, he has shared the stage with many mainstream artist today which includes his latest stop with Too Short in Brooklyn New York. His viral numbers are incredible showing huge amounts of followers and subscribers from youtube, twitter, facebook etc. His videos/music is also being acknowledged by several websites and blogs including Worldstar Hip Hop.

Currently, DTFK is working on a new mixtape project which is set to be released in Fall 2012. He also continues to market and promote his brand throughout the colleges, viral, and live performances.
