Lucidvox is a Moscow-born, now internationally dispersed psych-rock quartet known for their raw, powerful sound and deeply personal lyrics. Formed over a decade ago, the band consists of Alina Evseeva (vocals, flute), Galla Gintovt (guitar), Nadya Samodurova (drums), and Anna Moskvitina (bass).
Lucidvox began as a fun side project among friends, inspired by the joy their boyfriends found in playing music together. Despite starting with covers of bands like Warpaint and The White Stripes, they quickly transitioned to writing original material, releasing their first EPs within six months. Their debut album, V Dvizhenii (2016), though no longer available on streaming platforms, marked their entry into the burgeoning 'New Russian Wave' scene, blending post-punk, goth, and psychedelic rock elements.

The band's international breakthrough came with performances at Tallinn Music Week and Pop-Kultur festival in Berlin in 2017. These experiences, including sharing the stage with IDLES, were pivotal in their growth and exposure to European audiences.

Lucidvox's latest album, That's What Remained (2023), reflects the band's maturity and the complexities of their lives post-Russia. The album delves into themes of alienation, hope, and the struggle to find one's place in a changed world. Songs like All Frozen and Don’t Look Away address the emotional toll of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, urging listeners to confront global issues head-on.

Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the band members scattered across Europe and Israel, each building new lives while maintaining their musical bond. Their reunion in Belgrade for rehearsals and shows highlights their resilience and the deep connection they share, both personally and professionally.
