Professional golfers Peter Jacobsen, Payne Stewart and Mark Lye created this band in the 80s and played until Stewart's untimely death in a plane crash in 1999. Jake Trout and The Flounders, which played primarily at a tournament Jacobsen hosted in his hometown of Portland, Ore. called the Fred Meyer Challenge, play mostly old rock songs with golf lyrics put to them.
