IN 2007, HE SOLD ALL HIS POSSESSIONS TO TRAVEL LIGHTLY, sans baggage, westward bound, determined to “make some epic memories,” and write about his experiences. He lived happily out of his car in Colorado, freely “sleeping in bear country and waking up to the sounds of coyotes…” as he dove into lyrics that explore solitude, love, suffering and a nomad’s lust for the open road.
