Following a long gestation period that included experimentation with various lineups, Mr Wu’s Pigs rebooted as a solo project in September 2018. Writing catchy tunes and lyrics that claw at the human underbelly, David Tombesi-Walton lays his raw but melodic vocals over a bed of jagged power chords and drum patterns. His songs have led to Mr Wu’s Pigs drawing (frankly astonishing) comparisons to acts such as T Rex, Buzzcocks, Bauhaus and even Nirvana – all acts that are also firmly embedded in David’s list of influences.
