Roman Screamroad is a multi-instrumentalist, sound designer, producer, and composer from Russia.

Roman released his first album, "Game! Game! Game!" in 2009 under the alias Brutal Pena. It was an independent 8-bit record with Nintendocore covers for the popular video game OSTs. You can probably still find it on Oldschool bootleg forums.

In 2014 - 2018 Roman worked under the alias RScreamroad. While exploring the influence of synthpop and Berlin School on modern synthwave and retrowave, he created five mini-albums "A Piece of Childhood" (2014), "Dream Highway" (2015), "Way Into the Sky" (2015), "Dawn" (2016), "Roman Screamroad" (2018).

In Summer 2015, Roman produced a psychobilly record "Jitter Squid" for the Squidbillys band, using '60s analog gear and an 8-track tape recorder.

Since 2019 Roman started expanding his sound to prog rock and prog metal under the alias The Roman Screamroad. He added "The" to his pseudonym to emphasize how he handles creating, producing, and marketing his music - 100% solo.
