Drug Like Lyrics

I'm an angel with broken wings
Who's poisoning the night
With love, from me to you

I'm having an episode
Do you want a small bit part
I think you might, oh, I hope you do

Oh, baby, go so slowly
Noways, nothing, quiet softly

The world falls apart in just seven days
It sinks to the bottom in oceans of rain
The cure is so clear, the blood is astray
And everyone dies except for the rain

And I think that I'm starting to scare myself
And I think that I'm starting to scare myself

I hate myself and I want you to die
So insincere, swallowing ice
And it all will render useless

Welcome to enhancement by affiliation
Time swept by in a hungry nation
And everybody's dancing to get it off their chests
And everybody dies no one gets to rest

Oh, baby, go so slowly
Noways, nothing, quiet softly

The world falls apart in just seven days
It sinks to the bottom in oceans of rain
The cure is so clear, the blood is astray
Everyone dies except for the rain

And I think that I'm starting to scare myself
And I think that I'm starting to scare myself

And I think, and I think I'm starting to scare myself
And I think, and I think I'm starting to scare myself
And I think, and I think I'm starting to scare myself
And I think, and I think I'm starting to scare myself

Go slow for the angels will fall
For the bitterness of this orgy God
Half lives with secular law
Suspended in a drug like

In a drug like, in a drug like
In a drug like state of bliss

Action Action is an indie rock band from Long Island, New York who combine a new wave aesthetic with a swirling guitar-driven sound reminiscent of The Bolshoi, Bauhaus, and other proto-goth bands prominent in the late 1970s and early '80s.

The lineup consists of:

Mark Thomas Kluepfel (singer/songwriting)
Adam Manning (guitar)
Clarke Foley (bass)
Dan Leo (drums)

In the studio while recording their debut, Don't Cut Your Fabric to This Year's Fashion, they employed synths to flesh out their sound and help set themselves apart from the typical rock-based indie act who normally do not experiment beyond basic rock instrumentation.

The band has finished recording their second album, An Army of Shapes Between Wars, which was released on January 24, 2006. The album makes more use of synthesizers and string sections.
