Drunk Tank Lyrics

I'm a member of the drunk tank
sometimes three days a week
i'm a member of the drunk tank
there's room reserved for me

happy hour is every hour seven days a week
drinking is my game and i do it sociably
every night the same old thing
i get behind the wheel
i'm gonna stop at every bar until i get my fill

I'm a member of the drunk tank
sometimes three days a week
i'm a member of the drunk tank
there's room reserved for me

something's wrong i'm waking up
out on the concrete floor
hey, excuse me officer will you
show me out the door
i'll pay a fine and promise never again
and if i loose my job
i'll be a drinking by profession

i'll never drink again

lose my license for a year is part of
the consequences
then enroll in A.A. whitha my drinking friends
it doesn't matter, its ok
there's no need for regrets
because i know in no time i'll be there again

I'm a member of the drunk tank
sometimes three days a week
i'm a member of the drunk tank
there's room reserved for me

Voodoo Glow Skulls are an underground third-wave ska band. Their music is a mixture of old-style ska, punk and metal. The band formed in 1988 in Riverside, California by brothers Frank, Eddie and Jorge Casillas and their longtime friend Jerry O'Neill. The Voodoo Glow Skulls practiced for two years in a sweaty back bedroom/practice space until they forged a taut unit that performed with demonic intensity and a demented sense of humor. Backyard parties spread the gospel of Voodoo Glow Skulls; when Spanky's Cafe' opened they played now-legendary shows with the Angry Samoans, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and The Dickies.
