Ivan Mládek (b. 1942) is a Czech singer, songwriter, banjo player, comedian, TV show host, writer and painter.

He begun his career as a musician playing banjo in jazz and country bands. In 1971 he started performing his own songs with a group of musicians called Banjo Band Ivana Mládka.

These catchy tunes with humorous or sometimes even nonsense lyrics came into spotlight in 2007 when a recording of "Jožin z bažin" was posted on youtube giving Ivan Mládek and his Banjo Band a chance to come back to stage and re-release some of their recordings.
