There are at least two artists called The Wasp Factory:

The Wasp Factory are a 3 piece melodic indie rock based originally from Grimsby, now based on the south coast in Brighton. They have been playing together for a number of years now and have recently released their first official single 'Nothing No More' on iTunes and other download sites.

The Wasp Factory were a 'noise rock' band based in London playing from the late 1980's to early 90's. They are not to be confused with the other 'Wasp Factory' from Grimsby. At time of writing they produced a single "The dark is looking brighter"/Scissors(?) and an album "Pretty quickly, Ugly slowly" released on Midnight Music Records in 1990. Live, The Wasp Factory were violently loud, brutal but managed to retain a sense of humour. They were one of several bands to come out of the Squat Party 'scene' of late 80's London with the likes of Terminal Cheesecake, Silverfish and God. Read more on Last.fm.
