Erik Austin Deerly is an American music composer and media artist, who creates soundtracks for film, dance, and video. He works primarily with live electronic processing and sampling technology, combining acoustic sounds with digital sound processors controlled via keyboard and Yamaha WX5 Wind Controller. He also authors interactive audio/video work for web, performance, and installation.

His work has been seen and heard world-wide and currently includes ten full-length music releases, four video shorts, a full-length independent film soundtrack, three collaborative dance scores, and two multi-screen video/audio installations. His work has earned a Webby nomination (1999), two Addy Awards (1988 & 1989), and a South by Southwest National Interactive Design Award (2002, first place).
