The Alpha Centauri is an indie band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, US. It is difficult to classify their music, but they belong somewhere in the more accessible area of art rock and lyrical progressive rock, with more focus on innovative arrangements and instrumentation than high technical playing abilities.
