Ethica may be a little known band from the Gold Coast, but they are certainly making waves in the national music scene. Having recently made it through to the Semi Finals in the first Tooheys Extra Dry Uncharted Competition for 2008, Ethica are finally gaining the attention of the masses.

Starting as a dream between two childhood friends back in 2002, Ethica has always been a band in the making. Over the years band members have come and gone and it wasn’t until the summer of 2006 before the current five piece line up fell into place. With all band members residing on the Gold Coast, the guys have seen the rise and fall of many local acts. As a result, they are determined not to get lost by the wayside and to remain true to their sound.

Currently in the process of change - with plans to combine the raw energy of screamo, with the fusion of ambiance and electronica - Ethica’s music is frantically evolving to greater heights. With the release of their Debut EP in only a matter of weeks - Ethica will forge ahead into 2008 - continuing to increase their loyal fan base and further enhancing their live stage show.
