Unidos por sangre y la Música, Hermanos Herrera se han establecido como el futuro brillante dentro de la música Regional Mexicana. El entusiasmo de la juventud, la autenticidad, y una imagen refrescante son las características que propulsarán Hermanos Herrera y el género Regional Mexicano a nuevas alturas. Capaz de captar varios estilos musicales con una autenticidad notable, Hermanos Herrera son verdaderos representantes del rico paisaje musical de México.
Hermanos Herrera es una familia que consiste de cinco hermanos y una hermana. El grupo toca varios estilos de música tradicional mexicana; Son Huasteco, Son Jarocho, y música Norteña. Su música se destaca con un estilo agresivo y energético que es apasionado y estimulante.
Hermanos Herrera cuentan con seis grabaciones bajo la disquera Sonbros Records. Su último disco Norteño recibió apoyo radial en EEUU y México, con uno de los cortes llegando a tomar la posición numero uno en algunos mercados. De tal manera, Hermanos Herrera quebraron barrancas y lograron que su sencillo de su disco huasteco, “Las Tres Huastecas”, llegara a tomar una posición favorable dentro de la radio comercial. Este logro innovador fue un primer para el género Son Huasteco. Por ser embajadores y difundir la música Huasteca, el grupo fue otorgado el máximo reconocimiento que se da en el género Huasteco; La presea, "Sol Poniente" en Veracruz, México.
Hermanos Herrera han compartido su música con una amplia audiencia, realizando presentaciones por todo EEUU y México. Ellos se han presentado en escenarios de renombre y han aparecido en numerosos programas de televisión al nivel nacional e internacional. Ellos han compartido el escenario con; Los Tigres del Norte, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, Linda Ronstadt, Conjunto Primavera, Los Lobos, Julieta Venegas, Ozomatli, Jose Feliciano, Montez de Durango, y Banda el Recodo entre innumerables otros artistas.
Más allá de la música, Hermanos Herrera se han establecido como eruditos completos y académicos. Los 6 miembros se graduaron “valedictorian” de su secundaria y fueron todos atletas estelares para sus escuelas. Ellos se han recibido, o continúan asistir UCLA, una de las universidades más prestigiosas en EEUU. Jorge Andrés Herrera continúa trabajando en su doctorado, Luis Albino Herrera recibió su Maestría, Miguel Antonio Herrera y Juan Pablo Herrera recibieron su licenciatura. José Marcelino Herrera y Rebeca Isabel Herrera siguen estudiando para sus licenciaturas.
Además de sus logros musicales y académicos, Hermanos Herrera han mantenido una presencia activa en la comunidad. Por medio de su música ellos han recaudado más de $100,000 para la comunidad y han participado en acontecimientos innumerables de recaudación de fondos y trabajo comunitario, educando a niños y ayudando a los más necesitados.
Su próximo y muy anticipado disco “En Tu Corazón” se lanzara en el verano 2009. Seguramente inundará las ondas radiales y será un verdadero tesoro para los amantes de la música.

United by blood and through Music, Hermanos Herrera have established themselves as the future of Regional Mexican music. Youthful exuberance, authenticity, and a refreshing image are the characteristics that will propel Hermanos Herrera and the Regional Mexican genre into new heights. Able to capture various traditional musical styles with remarkable authenticity, Hermanos Herrera are true representatives of Mexico’s rich musical landscape.
Hermanos Herrera is a family group consisting of five brothers and their younger sister. The group plays various styles of traditional Mexican music such as Son Huasteco, Son Jarocho, and musica Norteña. They perform with an aggressive and energetic style that is both passionate and exhilarating.
Hermanos Herrera have six recordings under the Sonbros Record label. Their latest Norteño CD received strong radio play throughout the U.S. and Mexico with one of the singles reaching number one in a few markets. Hermanos Herrera further broke new ground with their most recent Son Huasteco recording as it also received commercial radio play in both the U.S. and Mexico. This groundbreaking achievement was a first for the Son Huasteco genre. For being ambassadors of the Son Huasteco genre, the group was awarded the most prestigious recognition, “Sol Poniente” Lifetime achievement award in Veracruz, Mexico.
Hermanos Herrera have shared their music with a wide audience, performing throughout the U.S. and Mexico. They have performed at world renowned venues, alongside the biggest names in the music industry and have appeared on numerous national and international television programs. They have shared the stage with; Los Tigres del Norte, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, Linda Ronstadt, Conjunto Primavera, Los Lobos, Julieta Venegas, Ozomatli, Jose Feliciano, Montez de Durango, and Banda el Recodo among countless other artists.
Beyond music, Hermanos Herrera have established themselves as well-rounded scholars and academics. All 6 members graduated valedictorian of their high school class and were all star athletes in various sports. They have, or continue to attend UCLA, one of the most prestigious universities in the U.S. Jorge Andres Herrera is continuing work on his Ph.D, Luis Albino Herrera received his Master’s degree, Miguel Antonio Herrera received his Bachelor’s degree as did Juan Pablo Herrera. Jose Marcelino Herrera and Rebeca Isabel Herrera are still working on their university degrees.
In addition to their musical and academic accomplishments, Hermanos Herrera have maintained an active presence in the community. Through their music they have raised over $100,000 for the community and have assisted in countless fundraising and community service events, educating children and assisting those in need.
Their upcoming and very much anticipated CD “En Tu Corazon” is planned for release in summer 2009. It will surely flood the radio waves and be a necessary addition to everyone’s collection.
