There are at least four bands who share this name:

1. A post-rock/alternative band from Heidelberg, Germany. It consists of Frieder Dziobek (vocals & guitar), Patrick Eckert (keyboard & guitar), Lennard Herlyn (bass) and Michael Löchinger (drums). Magdalena Riedlberger did vocals for a few songs but then parted ways with the group. They can be found at www.myspace.com/itcow.

2. A post-rock/experimental band from Malvern, UK. It consists of members Karl Lane (vocals & guitar), Steve May (bass) and James Wilson (drums). The band got together in 2005 to create tunes similar to those of Pelican, Red Sparrows and Explosions in the Sky. They can be found at myspace.com/inthecompany.

3. A progressive/indie/experimental band from Seattle, WA. Brett Shelton (vocals & guitar), Jon Cox (backup vocals & bass), and Davey Coffman (drums). Shelton & Coffman were in The Last Romance, which broke apart late April, 2007. Their new project can be found at myspace.com/incompanyofwolves.
