There are two groups named Scantly Clad.

1)Duo from Paso Robles, CA creating improvised sounds and releasing them in volumes. Members consist of Greg Manata (Violet Dials) and Preston (Guisher).Hungrier.info

2) In around the starting of grade 10 (2004), Leo and Jesse wanted to start a ska band. This was particularly hard because Jesse still listened to bands like Rammstein. Jesse was supposed to play guitar, and Leo was supposed to play bass and sing. This was a bad idea because Leo couldn’t play bass, and he wouldn’t even get one until about a year later.

A little while later, they hooked up with Bryce, A.J Britton (Around May/June 2005). They jammed once. Then they recruited Chelsea. A.J played the drums, Leo abandoned the bass and just sung, and Alex played the bass. We had a couple jams and never really got anything done. We almost got about half of a song done. A lot of the time members wouldn’t show up for practice, and Jesse was grounded for like.. the entire year.. but anyways. That went downhill. A.J left the band, a long with Chelsea and Alex (August 6th, 2005). Alex said that he would not be able to play with another drummer (Remember this, or you won’t realize the irony), which is why he left.

Scantily Clad was now broken up. It was just Leo, Bryce, and Jesse. We struggled for a while, and pretty much did nothing. We got to know Johnny from the local punk shows and we asked him if he wanted to play bass for us, and he said yes. We jammed a
couple times, then we recruited Mitch. Mitch only jammed with us once.

It was around Christmas time of grade 11 that we decided to get Alex back in the band. Alex was now the drummer (Oh the irony!). We started Jamming and got one song done. Then we got Chelsea back in the band and started working on another song.

We completed two songs with Chelsea in the band. We recorded our song “Women with dinks” with her (on an mp3 player). She stopped coming to practice, and we kicked her out of the band.

We started working on songs and we got a couple more done. At one point Scantily Clad wasn’t working out so well, So Alex, Leo, and Jesse started a side project acoustic band called proctology’s best. proctology’s best played their first show in February of grade 11, playing four covers and one original, and had there first jam a couple days before the show. Once Scantily Clad started up again, proctology’s best ended and Scantily Clad started jamming again. We had recruited Daniel in the band as a saxophone player but he only ever came to one practice because he is a very busy person and will actually
succeed in life. Nonetheless, we started working again.

Scantily Clad started to get going again and played their first show July 1st, Canada day, 2006. Finally, after almost a year of the band just being an idea, and then 2 months of having a band, then going through a break up and rebuilding, then having 7 months of and actual band and kicking out members, and having a side project, then actually working hard and jamming, they finally played there first show. It was about fucking time.

Scantily Clad could now start playing shows around Chilliwack. Scantily Clad then recruited Chelsea back in the band. (October, 2006).

We then recruited a kick ass keyboardist named Russell Larden who we immediately bonded with as if we were friends for a long time. He already has ideas for songs and seems a lot more dedicated then Chelsea.

Chelsea didn’t come to jam for around 1 month and 2-3 weeks (We all were talking about kicking her out), so we didn’t let her play our show on the 10th of February (We were going to kick her out remember this) so then right at the start of our set she yells “I FUCKING QUIT YOU GUYS ARE DICKS” We all cheered and laughed a merry laugh.
