Dj Ralex

Music has always been a huge part of his life, when he was about 8 he started a radio station with his brother, selecting his favourite tracks from his parents collection and playing them through the stereo and recording onto cassette.
For the years to follow he would always be obsessing about the music that was being played at a particular moment, making sure that it was suitable for the current situation.

When he got a bit older he became aware of dj’s and the tools and techniques they use to blend and change music. He was hooked on the idea that a Dj has complete control over what music is played, the opportunity to share different music and control the mood of an enviroment.

As a Dj, Ralex likes to play music that’s a little un-conventional, steering clear of crappy mainstream music and playing quality dance tracks that people might not have heard before. While he personally listens to a wide range of music he is currently focusing on three genres for djing; Deep House, Drum and Bass and (a recent adition) Techno.

Each mix front start to finish is quite an involved process of; searching for suitable tracks, ordering the tracks, planning transitions and then recording the mix live on two turntables.
