There are at least 3 bands with the name Haddonfield:

1. Haddonfield (UK) is a South Wales Punk Rock band in the vein of Alkaline Trio and Against Me.

2. Haddonfield was a post-hardcore band from Baltimore, Maryland, United States.

From their Myspace: Around April of 2003 was the start of My Broken Promise. For those of you who don't know, that band evovled to which is now Haddonfield. The original members of this band were Eric Flores, Finch Flores, Sean Underwood, Patrick Lalor, and Klown Williams. We started out writing material and within a few weeks, we were playing shows at all the venues in Baltimore. Things were feeling great for us and we were so psyched that everything was like a dream already. The conversation then came up about how serious this was gonna be and how we were gonna eventually give up everything that is important to us to make this worth continuing and everyone agreed that they would do that. Not long after, we felt that something was wrong with the band when shows were being cancelled for jobs and practice was cut down to only once a week. Something had to be talked about and once that was discussed, our vocalist Patrick Lalor was the problem. He just wasn't worth keeping because the feeling of dedication among yourself and others is so rewarding, but so shitty when someone else isn't feeling the same way.

After this was said and done. Our friend Josh Korel was interested in filling the spot, and we were also very interested in trying him out. Once we heard him do some of the old songs his way, we were completely baffled at how much stronger our music was. Not only that, but his attitude was so positive towards the band that we had much more heart in this. So many sacrifices were made as we started playing more. We gave up our jobs and basically our whole lives. But then here came another huge problem that what in the past overlooked. Our guitar player Sean Underwood was lying to us. All the sudden we find out he's in another band also. We were not gonna allow that and we were willing to give him the choice of either not playing in that band anymore or leaving. We were told he was gonna quit the other band. The next day we had practice and he didn't show up. We gave the singer of the other band a call and realized he was with them practicing. We had no choice but to let him go .

Not even a week later our good friend Mike Harker who has been a fan of the band since forever was asking to tryout. The crazy thing was he alreday knew how to play two of our songs. Not only did he play them pretty much flawless with us. He also added a different style of riffs to the mix. Not long after we were playing shows again and doing better then we ever were before. Our fanbase started growing and started to impact the Baltimore music scene the way we wanted it to.

A few weeks later we met up with our Manager Steve Ritterspach, which was by far one of the best things that has ever happened to us. Not only does he provide a vibe that gives us much confidence, but he also lets us practice at his place, drives us to all of the shows in our new motorhome, and put up money to buy things we need. He also has given us jobs at a warehouse that he owns also. We think of this man as a father. He treats us like family so that's what we consider him.

What we do now is work 8 hours a day, and practice five days a week. The other two days either gets spent on booking ourselves a tour in April, or handing out flyers somewhere. We now realize what needs to be done and we are preparing to do just that.

They released their EP Varias in 2008.
