There are several bands called Imperator:

1) Polish death metal band formed in 1984. The band released 5 demos and one full-length entitled "Time Before Time" in 1991. Big distribution problems bankrupted the band, and they split up soon after aborted recording sessions for a second album. They re-formed briefly in 1998, recorded another demo and split up again.

2) An electro house music producer from Germany.

3) British death metal band Mithras initially went under this name, they released one demo CDr entitled "Gods Among Men" before the change.

4) A German black metal band which released one demo and a split with Baalsfeuer so far.

5) Serbian rock/metal band from the beegining of '90s. Band was made in 1993 in Cacak, Serbia and they split up in 1995. They won Zajecarska Gitaijada in 1994, even though they were all 13, 14 and 15 years old. Behind them they only left one demo album called "Vise Nije Kao Pre". Read more on Last.fm.
