System 2 is the artist alias of Charlie McConville. Based in London, his sound had been forged by various underground genres and inspired by an ever mutating electronic scene. His production style has developed over the years with recent influences and collaborations leading to a fusing of progressive breaks and psychedelic tech funk that combines driving dancefloor energy with deep and mystical atmospheres.

His current and forthcoming release discography includes single and remixes releases on the forward thinking Greek label VIM Records and their sister label Diablo Loco Records including features on their compilation releases, he has also had early remixes released on Seamless Recordings & Tsuba Records. He has gained DJ experience since his early 20's cutting his teeth with vinyl and then moving on to digital formats with gigs at London venues such as the legendary Corsica Studios for Interakt, Camden's popular organic bar and club Inspiral Lounge and for Full Colour at Glade - one of the UK's most renowned electronic festivals.
