Central Intelligence has set the stage, since forming in 1997, as the latest of up and coming hip-hop groups out of the Pacific Northwest. This group emerges from Seattle’s Central District known and respected for all the hard hitting and competitive underground hip-hop sounds and artists! Central Intelligence combines as the eclectic sounds of five emcees: Lowkey, Citizen Cain, Diopolis, SeaJay and Dialect. These emcees come with separate styles and musical backgrounds that bring an assorted Northwest flavor that the hip-hop world is yearning for! The year 2000 was a big year for the group, performing in numerous local shows, to laying down tracks with local producers such as Vitamin D, Rocaphella, Bean One, Poetry which led to the completion of their 2001 self titled debut album “Central Intelligence”.
