In September 2016, Rob Atkins (Wellington, NZ) and Andro Mathewson (Los Angeles, US) met at the University of Otago and founded Acrillics intending to produce electronic music that combines multiple genres and their cross-cultural backgrounds to create a unique sound without the constraints of one musical category. Since their origin, Acrillics has gone on to release their ALIVE EP on FUXWITHIT, headline shows and perform at venues across the world, and open for artists such as GTA, Josh Pan, Louie Lastic, AFK, Svdden Death & Shaun Frank.
