Blind Oracle was a progressive deathcore band from Newcastle, Australia, active from 2012 until March 2018. The lineup included Brodie Paul as lead vocalist, Seth Murrant on guitar, Christopher Benson on guitar (replacing former member Lee Burke), Oliver Nash on bass, and Kyle Thompson on drums. The band was known for its intense musical style, combining technical deathcore elements with progressive metal influences, and themes often centered on societal and political critique.

Their debut was the single The Epsilon Program, released in September 2014. The song was later featured on the debut EP, The Poison of Humanity, that was released on October 25, 2014. This debut showcased their aggressive sound and lyrical focus on issues they perceived within modern society. On July 21, 2015, they released the single "Holoscene," and in January 2016, they followed up with the EP Between Blade & Flesh. Later that year, on October 11, they released the single "Bloodlines," with lyrics discussing organized religion's impact on social behavior and ideals. The song’s commentary highlighted their dissatisfaction with what they viewed as manipulative societal structures, including both religious and governmental institutions.

On February 17, 2018, Blind Oracle performed as an opening act for Cattle Decapitation and Psycroptic on the Australian Extinction tour, further boosting their visibility. However, less than a month later, on March 9, they announced their disbandment following the departure of guitarist Seth Murrant, who left to pursue different musical directions. In a statement, the band emphasized that Murrant’s departure played only a minor role in their decision to split, as all members had previously discussed moving on to explore new creative paths individually. At the time of disbandment, the band expressed gratitude to fans and noted that some members intended to continue releasing music in new projects. Read more on Last.fm.
