The 1/4 Tons is a high energy Blues/Rock band with recording and traveling aspirations. Just getting it off the ground right now. We will be playing starting in May of 2007 locally here in Boise, and then touring hopefully by next year. Nathan Jay & The 1/4 Tons started as just a fill in band to open for one of my heroes, Mike Zito, last February. Everything clicked so well that we all took it as a sign and decided to move forward with the project. So much of that has to do with the fact that Cory J. McClymonds and Dave John are an unstoppable rhythm section together and virtuoso players in my mind. Also a lot has to do with the fact that we have all played together before in different bands. Thanks for the support and keep the Blues alive!
