M.A.F (Mut aus Flaschen, which means something like "courage from bottles") was created from the remains of the German Punk band Fuck in 1980 or 1981. They played faster and harder than what was common in German Punk combos at the time. The band consisted of: J.P. Rapp (drums), Danny Stiehl (guitar), Thomas Mohrawek (vocals) and Schlagwerker (bass).

They released
– LP "Hau Ab" on Rock-o-Rama in 1983
– a tape containing practice room recordings and a concert from March 24, 1983, recorded at a boy scout home in Ginsheim, Germany
