focuspoint consists of singer/guitarist Chris Watson, guitarist Jeremy Olson, bassist Paolo Mottola and drummer Danny Woodward. The guys met while attending Stadium High School in Tacoma and created the band in 2000. After a hiatus to pursue higher education in 2003, the band regrouped in late 2005 and has since played consistently at various venues in Puget Sound.

In early 2007, the band entered the studio to record its first full-length album, "Lost in the Sound." The 18-track album features all original songs, spanning the band's seven-year history and kicks off with lead singles, "Never Again," "We Came Alive" and "Sweet Release." The singles represent the album's themes of angst, heartache and restlessness. "Lost in the Sound" is now available, and the band is actively performing to support the album. Read more on Last.fm.
