Formed in Milton Keynes in 2007 the band Rotten Ped are the creation of brothers Phill and Greg Pedder with 3rd member Chris Shaw.
In 2009 the band released their debut album "The Heavenly Sound Of Smut" which lyrically became a fierce stab against all things wrong and seedy in the UK. The band would tackle subjects you would no doubt find on TV program such a Jeremy Kyle ,and not being over political would embark on a 'Insult" fest against many of todays less desirable celebritys ,often adding cheeky humour.
The albums opening track "Sexual Favours" would later feature in the controversial UK film "Killer Bitch" starring celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid , a song thats raised a few eyebrows since its release.
in July 2010 the band released their 2nd album "Fun With Explosives" a more relaxed and polished sound from their shocking debut .The album would appear on itunes in the new and noteworthy section and is the bands best work to date, a sign of more things to come ,Rotten Ped draw many comparisions to bands such as PIL and the late Ian Dury and often quote bands such as Sonic Youth and The Wedding Present as huge influences.
