phonogen are singer Frederic Student and guitarist Well AsCop. The two guys have known each other since their childhood. But just shortly after they had decided to grow up, they discovered their mutual dream of writing their own music.
After founding two moderately successful bands they started working as a songwriter team in 2006. Since then they have been decoding their personal pop code number by number, which songs such as “Sent A Rush” and the almost danceable “Name&Face” are proof of. This band’s pop music makes you listen up and has a long–lasting effect - especially because catchy music has never been heard that way before – at least not as phonogen!
