Katou Yukari (加藤有加利), born April 3, 1985, better known as YUKA, was one of the two vocalist of the duo RYTHEM, disbanded on February 27, 2011. In the same year nearly in November she started with a solo indie project as yucat, which name belongs to the "another her in the parallel world" as she herself explained on her website (http://www.yucat.jp/). Despite of the harmonious and mellow-ish songs on RYTHEM, now as yucat she has been trying to dive into a new style of music.
