The Modern Beat Orchestra is the vision of producer and composer David Edward Jensen, featuring the vocal talent of lyricist Jennifer Anne Simons. Jensen works with Simons for all feature vocal parts, utilizing her sheer talent, unsurpassed range and clear tone.

Extensive training in jazz studies and classical composition, along with a deep passion for electronic music, allows the MBO to propel forward in dance music. The MBO’s musical influences range from Duke Ellington, Peter Gabriel and Sarah McLachlan to Ulrich Schnauss, Way Out West and the Chemical Brothers.
The Modern Beat Orchestra’s live set combines the excitement of a live band with the non-stop intensity of a DJ set, by combining live vocals, visuals and multiple sequencers and samplers, for the ultimate experience in non-stop club entertainment.
