The Gracious Deviants are an acoustic duo from Wellington, NZ in 2004.

The band comprises Pete Edge(vocals, guitar), and Darrel Greaney (vocals, guitar). Both are strong singers, making The Gracious Deviants' sound heavy on the vocals and harmony, while the rhythmic interplay between the two acoustic guitars fills in the spaces between breaths.

Their material is all original, steeped in the folk/pop traditions of their native New Zealand, homeland of the mighty Split Enz, Neil Finn and Crowded House, Don McGlashan and The Mutton Birds, Dave Dobbyn, Goldenhorse, Anika Moa, Thrashing Marlin, and many, many more.
