Electric Armchair is April Salisbury-White, a multimedia psyched-electronic artist. She writes and produces audio and visuals in her home recording studio near Toronto. Through carefully molded synths and organic samples of keyboard and electric guitar, she conveys a retro yet futuristic atmosphere complimented by ethereal layers of vocals reminiscent of a fantasy-like video game. April is influenced by artists and bands such as Gorillaz, Beck, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Pixies, and Björk. Read more on Last.fm.
