Jamie Smithson (aka Recktchordz) has had an obsession with music and its culture since the age of 11.
He quickly learned the basics of software-based music production. Countless days and nights in the studio eventually formed the powerful mixture of techno, house, breaks and funk that launched him into the ranks of esteemed U.K. break-beat and electro producers -- Rektchordz is now a household name in London's new 'Tech Funk' dance music scene!

At just 24 (in 2009), Rektchordz currently has releases on U.S.-based Bombtraxx Records and U.K.-based U&A Recordings, and has been featured on mixes and in collaborations with U.K. nU Skool Breakz big players like Meat Katy and Dylan Rhymes. He currently resides in Cornwall, Southwest U.K.
