Kevin Nolan is an Irish artist. To date, he has released his debut FREDRICK & THE GOLDEN DAWN and his retrospective exploration of songs written in his teens and early twenties ABSENT AT THE MOMENT WHEN HE TOOK UP THE MOST SPACE . He is also the author of four books, VIBRATIONS OF THE SOUL, FRAGMENTS OF MIND (coal I / Susanne Wawra), WAKE NARROW THE NAKED PHRASE (coal II / Susanne Wawra) and an epistolary Novel called VENT THE PENT. His next full length studio album is due for release 24.04.2020 and is titled LET'S ALL GET NERVOUS. Keen admirers of Nolan work are (Choice Music Award winner) Julie Feeney, Author of (John The Revelator) and spoken word artist Cursed (Peter) Murphy. Nolan has been aired on BBC 6 music and RTE's Mystery Train. Nolan has battled with mental health all his life and was the subject of a documentary entitled HUM directed by Nathan Fagan which won Best short Doc in many festivals across Europe. Nolan has toured extensively in Montreal, USA and Europe. He is yet unsigned and unrepresented and has been working completely independently, writing, composing, performing, mixing, producing all himself including the art work for his vinyl records and music videos. He collaborated in 2019 with Susanne Wawra on a hour long Audio work installation called KINDERKURHEIM which was exhibited in Irish Museum Of Modern Art (IMMA) for five months from April to August. Nolan has been experimenting with sound for quite some time his first release WE ARE NOT THE VOICES, THEY ARE BUT SHADOW NOW was recorded in Dublin in 2006 along with THE EXISTENTIAL VACUUM CLEANER series in 2007.
