Die Dave Esser Group ist die Truppe um Sänger und Songwriter Dave Esser. Die Gruppe versteht sich jenseits von Genreschubladen, setzt jedoch derzeit einen Schwerpunkt auf Rock. Die Gruppe macht sowohl deutsch- als auch englischsprachige Musik.

Dave Esser war zwölf Jahre lang Sänger und Hauptsongwriter bei Schattenspieler, ist aber auch durch seine Zusammenarbeit mit J.R. Blackmore, Vanden Plas und ELA bekannt.
