Animalia is a solo artist that uses layered vocals, acoustic guitar, beats and electronica to create her music, offering an energetic and dark performance. She has been likened to Sinead O’Connor and Dolores O'Riordan for her strong vocals.

Residing in Toronto, Canada, this Tasmanian musician started her solo career as Animalia in January, 2012, and has since released two independent EP’s: “To the Waking, the Shaking and the Volatile” and “A Wave to Wash the World Away”.

The song “Unity” (off the first EP) appeared in the movie “Antiviral” by Brandon Cronenberg, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival 2012.

“A Wave to Wash the World Away” has been played on a range of Canadian College and Community radio stations and Australia’s Triple J Unearthed has the track “Swimming” on rotation.
