Kaspar Bierkämper was a German composer and multi-instrumentalist who performed and recorded every instrument on his tracks. All albums are self-produced. Born and raised in Lüdinghausen, he moved to Dortmund at the age of 18 to further his studies in classical cello. He was well known in Dortmund's band scene. In the early years he was part of bands like Soulong with Chris Tanzza, later on he contributed to the Ace Cats, Rüdiger Bayer and BMW alongside Jürgen Weber. In his later years, he devoted himself entirely to his solo work before his untimely passing at just 42 years old in late 2006. Read more on Last.fm.
