A.O.C/AVL INTEGRITY ARTIST ICRIS (short for i am a Christian) was Born in Muskegon, MI. He is making hip hop with a message and bringing back true lyrical skill. Cris has survived 2 drownings, 3 suicide attempts, several overdoses, 2 car accidents, being thrown from a motorcycle head first into the concrete parking block with no helmet, a near fatal parachuting accident and being stabbed in the heart and lung losing 2/3rds of all the blood in his body. He has been a drug dealer, a thief and knows what it's like to have guns pulled on him and pull guns on people with the intent on taking life.

Diagnosed with severe bipolar, split personality disorder, depression and anxiety, It was not long ago that he was living to get high and do as much damage as he could to himself and the world around him. His serious problem with drugs lead him one weekend to clear out his bank account and go on a cocaine, meth and alcohol bender waving a shotgun around and cutting both his arms from the wrist to the elbows. After a stint in rehab and with the help of his wife and the staff at Res. Life church Ionia, He got his life on track. Cris quotes "Its not perfect by any means but it is better with HIM than it ever was before".

Cris has been doing music for years. He started out doing hip hop with all the cussing, drugs and abusing women he could fit into his lyrics. He soon grew tired of living the hip hop lifestyle so he tuned out and got hooked on X which grew into a cocaine addiction. After being set free and giving his life back to the Lord after that stint in rehab, the passion for music was revived inside him, Which lead to the ground breaking "Stereotype" CD in 2006 which to date has sold and distributed more than 2000 copies. In 2008 his Critically acclaimed follow up "Christophany" dropped and has sold more than 4000 copies and counting. But the monster came in 2009 with the release of "WHY SO SERIOUS" which to date has pushed 7000 copies and counting. In 2010 Cris released the Ep "B4D1". and is currently working on his latest project a double CD/DVD "DAY ONE". Cris says "My Music is for all those who enjoy hip hop".
