Mentaporta are a 5-piece shoegaze/grunge/experimental rock band from Cornwall. They formed in 1994 and have undergone many lineup changes since. Although never truly breaking out of Cornwall, they have a solid Cornish fanbase and are usually found gigging in the Redruth/Camborne area.
Mentaporta have a vast collection of records under their belt and have just recorded their latest EP at the VIP Lounge in Penzance, with recording credits going to Dare Mason. MP3's can be found on their official website or on their Myspace.
