There’s a new voice in music, a classically trained voice full of charisma and emotion. That voice is December Rose. Born and raised in Montreal, young December honed her musical gifts and creative passion at Canada’s Royal Conservatory of Music, learning how to express her vocals with precision. Acting then helped expand her interests beyond the classical bubble, allowing her to grow into the strong, soulful and unique pop singer she is today.

Inspired primarily by pop and jazz, December fuses the best of both worlds into her style. The result is music that is tastefully refined yet accessible and fun. She blends elegance, strength and exuberance into a seamless package that reaches out to fans across genres and age groups.

December first built a following in 2010 with a series of YouTube videos showcasing her vocal and piano skills. By 2012 she’d recorded several original songs, including “Don’t Give Up On Love” which won the best Female Solo Artist prize on MakeAStar.com. It was this win that caught the attention of Invitation Records’ A&R executive Gianni Tiru. Invitation Records is a new label co-founded by Russ Regan, the man responsible for launching the careers of Elton John, Neil Diamond, Barry White and Olivia Newton-John, just to name a few. Invitation Records quickly made December Rose their first signing, a move that’s certain to take her to the next level and beyond.

While always keeping busy with her career, December remains a down-to-earth and approachable young woman steadfast to never compromise her authentic and personable style. Determined to make a positive impact on the world, she believes being in touch with her values and purpose in life helps make stronger connections and inspires her fans to stand up and express themselves freely.
