Greg Kurstin (born May 14, 1969) is an award-winning American songwriter, producer, performer, keyboardist, and multi-instrumentalist, who resides in Los Angeles, California. In 2009, Kurstin was Grammy nominated for Producer of the Year. That same year he won three Ivor Novello awards for his work with Lily Allen, including Songwriters of the Year for "The Fear." He is one-half of The Bird and the Bee and was a member of Geggy Tah. In 2001 he formed the short-lived jazz rock band Action Figure Party and recorded one album.
Kurstin has played and performed with Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Yusuf Islam, The Flaming Lips, Bob Moog, among many others. He was also the musical director for Gwen Stefani's live and television performances.
Kurstin's production and songwriting is found on a wide range of albums. He has written and produced with Adele, Beck, Sia, P!nk, Maren Morris, DEVO, Paul McCartney, Lily Allen, Foo Fighters, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, and Greta Van Fleet.
