Beat creator Kubus and MC Sticks are two Dutch hiphop greats, who recorded an album called Microphone Colossus together in 2004, having previously worked together intensively on Kubus' solo album, Buitenwesten.

In 2012 they released their second collaboration album Microphone Colossus 2.

Sticks (famous for his collaborations with fellow rapper Rico and producer Delic under the Opgezwolle moniker) once again hooked up with Kubus for their third joint long player, Het mooiste komt nu (November 2020).
