Deus Sex Machina was a Latvian industrial rock band from Rīga, Latvia, formed in 1995 by composer Andris Vilcāns.

The band have won a prize in nomination for the Best Arrangement at Sinepes un Medus festival in Madona, Latvia; participated at Art Genda event at Stockholm, Sweden and other events. Deus Sex Machina has received the LNT Award for the concert programme Sister Left (2000) and AKKA/LAA Infinity Music Award for the music of performance Fausts. Deus Ex Machina (1998). In 2002, the band anounced its split up.

In 2008, it was reformed. The band recorded and released track Paliek Klusāk, both the audio and video.

In 2009, Deus Sex Machina announced an indefinite hiatus.
