Luke Gregory moved up through the British 'New Wave Scene' during the 1980's playing both guitar and bass. By the late 1980’s, his aggressive staccato style on the bass was garnering all the work so the guitar was abandoned.

Through the 1990’s Luke worked as live dep player around the world, mostly centered in London and Sydney as well as studio session work mainly for Rock/Funk/Acid and Jazz/Reggae/Fusion/Dance outfits. Luke also took on various production duties for independent dance and rock labels throughout that time.

After a nine year forced hiatus brought about by acute tendonitis and carpal tunnel syndrome, Luke Gregory is now back on the international music scene, based in Shanghai where he is involved in various global recording projects and live work.
