Statik G is the underground's favorite mental patient. He's been labelled "The Drug of the Underground" by fans, referencing the addiction only his music can tame. As The Ghost of Hip Hop, he plans on reviving the hip hop and horrorcore scenes to the glory they deserve. He's racked up several aliases over the years, but everyone still knows him simply as Statik. Though "Statik" has always existed, he only manifested in audio form more recently in 2007 where he shared the darkness with the shadows. Over 6 online mixtapes were released after he hit the streets with "Only if I'm Stoned EP", a cult classic designed for crazies like him. Statik the Godfather was an underground sensation online, but never left the shadows.. Until 2008, when he finally showed his face and began performing live.

Statik was an aspiring solo artist before Death Lab recruited the Godfather into their ranks. They saw his potential and wanted to help him reach it. With Death Lab Productions, he released "Underneathe the Underground" and hit the ground running. After creating what was known as "Prescription Rx" with MC Viruz, he stepped away from his twisted take on horrorcore music and began working on a style they called Drug Music. About a quarter of the way through the first CD titled "America's High", Statik, Viruz, and BIG Murda decided to add Biskit, Statik's close homie from the south, into the group. In 2012, they also added their DJ, DJ Funksway among the ranks or PRx.

For almost 3 years (from 2009-2012) they hit stage after stage, opening for some of the underground and mainstream's biggest names. Shortly after changing the name to PRESCRxPTION and about a year after releasing "America's High," the group decided to take a break from performing to focus on the next album and to get some of life's affairs in order. Meanwhile, unable to put the pen down for more than a couple days, Statik released "Statik Attack", a mixtape named after his frequent panic attacks. Though considered some of his best work, he quickly let it crawl to the shadows while he went to work on "Slightly Sober".

Though he had to rebuild his name after spending so much time with PRx, Statik was welcomed to the underground with open arms. While every CD "Poppa Pill" releases is themed with a different style, he put extra effort in defining Slightly Sober. Known to his fans as some of his darkest work yet, it showcases a diverse range of emotions and concepts that allows the listener to connect with him the same way his idols did. Only 8 months after Statik Attack was released, he dropped Slightly Sober and hit the road for his first tour with Alphamatic. Though his style has evolved over the years, no other album or style have resonated so well with the homicidal asshole or his fans.

Fully in tune with himself, the pen, the mic, and the stage, Statik has reached the pinnacle of his talents. Using the odd combination of hip hop, drug music, and horrorcore, he laces his voice through instrumentals in whatever way he can best express himself. He's known as one of the most lyrical up n comers in the game, able to combine word play and lyricism with fast rap and harmonizing, and even singing at times.

Statik is a force to be reckoned with. He is everything and nothing at the same time; A shadow in the dark. He was gifted with a paintbrush for a tongue and is able to dance with words like a flame. Though once a shunned outcast, he has built his name into one nobody will soon forget. To miss out on this music is not just a disservice to yourself, it's a slap in the face of anyone who could have benefited from you showing them the new music.

Statik continues his legacy in 2014, taking over state after state until the Hip Hop Revolutionary War is won. His political views are looked down upon but are slowly opening eyes nation wide. His dark side allows those equally sick to vent through his sound. And while most still don't know the name, they will.
