Karen Michelle is a female singer/songwriter from Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK, currently based in the UK West Midlands.

She specialises in the Electro/Trance genre, and also writes lyrics for other atists and producers. Her debut album in 2009 is called "Northern Songbird", reflecting her roots from the North of England. Several tracks, including "Rise and Fall of a Star", also appear on other various artist compilation albums, and get club play.

Initially signed to Filthbox Records in the USA, any interested party should note that her contract with them was terminated by mutual agreement in 2010. She now operates as an independent artist, under the guide of manager Andy Foley, who is in the process of forming independent label Northernsongbird Records.

Karen Michelle can also be contacted through Last.fm user andyfoley25. She is registered with both PPL and PRS in the UK who will collect royalties on her behalf.
