Fool for Love Lyrics

I'm leaving this place behind
And i'm heading out on the road tonight
I'm off for the winter lands
Where i'm known to have taught you to stand
Before I commence my ride I'm asking Lily to be my bride
I know there's another man but he aint gonna delay my plans
I know she's gonna be my wife
Gonna fall in love I'm gonna live my life with her
You know I bet he's not so tough
Aint afraid of him cause I'm a fool for love

I've come far to find Big Jim
Well here I am and I guess you him
I see how you got your name you're tall as hell and braod as a train
They say you a hard-broiled man
And the baddest guy in the whole wide land
Well I'm not fraid to fight lets step outside and I'll show you why
I'm humming like a revved up truck nevermind the odds I'm gonna try my luck with her
Just tell me when you've had enough I'm dangerous cause I'm a fool for love
You know you don't hit half bad
For my love I will lay in the grave tonight
Just wait until I catch my breathe
Gonna send you off and annihilate

I lie in the drifting snow bleeding out it's as cold as we know
If spring comes before I'm found
Just throw my bones in a hole in the ground
I lost friend along my way
I knew I'd need them eventually
No I'm not afraid to die
Just mad I left Big Jim alive
I know I should've never looked back
But you aint gonna win a woman's heart like that
I never should've called his bluff
I was born to lose cause I'm a fool for love
I stare into the endless sky
And I saw a tale of my life go by
I drift into the great unknown I really don't know where I'm going
I stare into the endless sky
And I saw a tale of my life go by
I drift into the great unknown
No I really don't know where I'm going

Lord Huron is the musical personality of Ben Schneider, a Michigan-born visual arts major currently residing in Los Angeles

Origins
----------

In the spring of 2010 Schneider traveled from Los Angeles to Northern Michigan. At Lake Huron, he developed songs for the first Lord Huron EP. He named the recording, Into the Sun.
Upon his return to L.A., Schneider set to work putting a band together. The first to join him was his percussion-playing childhood friend Mark. Each of the band members of band hail from Michigan.

Into The Sun and Mighty
Lord Huron released two EPs in 2010, Into the Sun and Mighty. Pop & Hiss, the LA Times Music Blog, described Mighty as "full of lush acoustic guitars and Midwestern-accented harmonies as warm as a winter fireplace, but it's the Caribbean-influenced percussion that fans Lord Huron's folk sound into flame,"and Pitchfork could only classify it as "a stylistic superball, bouncing off any wall you put around it." NPR's World Cafe wrote "the band's lush harmonies are backed by a hazy whirlpool of polyrhythmic tropical drums and folk guitars."
Despite the fact that Schneider played all of the instruments on both EPs, he has gathered a band for live performances, which have also gotten positive reviews. "The totality of the experience was like being on hand for a combination drum circle, chamber performance, and Calypso street party," wrote LA Weekly. Some of the larger shows the band has performed at include Lollapalooza (2011) and Outside Lands (2011), as well as a marathon ten shows in four days at the SXSW (2011) music festival.
