MC Virgins, founded by MC Prophet and MC God, is an American hip hop group which has been active since 2018. The group consists of four members, MC Prophet, MC Wasian, MC Kudge and MC Gibby. MC God quietly left the group in 2023 due to personal career choices. They are most known for their hit songs "Anime Thighs" featuring wonder and "Trap Anthem" with Yun Head.

Before they had even established a group name, the Virgins released their first song on January 8, 2018. Originally a duo, the MC Virgins started off as just a joke between MC God and MC Prophet, who originally met in middle school. Their lyrics were purposely vulgar and offensive as their goal was to make songs their friends could laugh at. They wouldn't take things serious until a now-deleted song started to perform well, gaining thousands of streams by the day. This led MC God and MC Prophet to continue creating and releasing music.

"Again, our only intention of releasing this over-the-top-edgier-than-ever song was to make our close friends laugh, but SOMEHOW the internet found the song and for our standards at the time, it started blowing up. Day after day, I would walk into school and MC God would tell me how it had gone up by 1,000 streams and we were both shocked. So we decided we needed to keep going with this and release more music ASAP as a duo. In between one of our classes, it had become time to think of our duo name and this is exactly what I said "It has to start with MC since that's in both of our names and what is a funny word? Oh, Virgins!" and in 2 seconds I created the name MC Virgins" — MC Prophet

MC Wasian was the third member to join the group, joining shortly after the release of the duos now-deleted first self-titled EP, MC Virgins. Due to surprisingly positive reception from their classmates and teachers, the Virgins felt motivated to create their first ever mixtape, MC Virginity, which is also now deleted. It released just four months after their first EP and featured MC Kudge and MC Gibby, the final two members to join the MC Virgins. They filled in for MC Wasian as he was grounded at the time.

Up until this point, the majority of their songs were themed around Minecraft and purposely edgy and offensive lyrics. This caused their growth to stagnate. Everything changed on August 8, 2019, with the release of their breakout hit single, "Anime Thighs":

" In the subsequent months, we kept releasing more and more music and we were steadily growing, however the growth started to become slower and slower. [...] and we decided to switch up our style a little bit. I had an interest in anime for a long time and thought "wouldn't it be funny to make a song about that?" and then Anime Thighs was born." — MC Prophet

Things started to really go up for the Virgins after the release of "Anime Thighs," as it gained over 100,000 streams within it's first month, being their best performing song to date. This is where the group believes the MC Virgins truly began.

Later that year on October 17, 2019, the group released their first debut mixtape, Forever Virgins. It featured popular songs like "Anime Thighs" and "Forever Virgins." The mixtape would later be taken down from all platforms due to issues with their distributor, but it remains available on their SoundCloud and YouTube.

The group started seeing astronomical growth throughout 2020, with viral songs like "Trap Anthem" and "Stay Strapped" getting tens of millions of streams. They followed up this viral success with the release of their debut EP, Virgins Club, on November 20, 2020.

The next couple of years would be a bit slower for the Virgins as only a handful of songs would end up releasing. This could be due to the ongoing COVID-19 virus still being full in effect and other personal events going on within the members lives. Notable releases include "Bumpin'" with Yun Head and Shotgun Willy and "Sundress" with Yung Bae. By this point the Virgins had a lot of attention on them, even signing a distribution deal with UnitedMasters. This made releasing music not as simple as it used to be.

After suffering song takedowns, lyric changes, instrumental switches amongst other things, the Virgins would make their long-awaited return on March 28, 2025 with the release of their single "Nothing Original." The music video for the song featured the announcement of their upcoming debut album. They released three more singles afterwards building up to the albums release.

On July 11, 2025, the group finally released their long-awaited debut album, After the Party. When asked about their plans afterwards, MC Prophet said this:

"We actually do have another project [[i]After the Party] coming out. If it does well enough we actually will have one final project, but after all of that, MC Virgins will be finished. MC God is going to the military, MC Wasian is pursuing a culinary career, I want to move on to new music, and Gibby and Kudge have out grown it as well. We aren't going to phone it in though, we are really going to try and make fun songs that people enjoy. — MC Prophet Read more on Last.fm.
