There is more than one artist/band with the name 'Ian'.

The first is a CCM performer with a more electronic/pop driven sound. He released only one CD in the early 90's and wasn't really remembered, though the material is solid and catchy.

Jerry Wayne Poole, who goes by his stage name Jaye (Pronounced as Jay- Yee) and ian, Is a american musician, born out of ohio, but moved to Chicago In his early teens, where he currently stays, while pursuing his dreams of making music.

Přestože IAN vznikl teprve v roce 2013, členové IAN nejsou žádnými nováčky. Na hudební scéně již nějakou dobu figurují a s kapelami MODEL BAZAAR a HYPERION odjeli přes stovky koncertů. A podle všeho v tom rádi budou pokračovat.
Hlavní Motto IAN je: „Mámeto rádi jednoduše. Odprostili jsme se od žánrů, stylů a škatulek... a mrzí nás jen to, že jsme na to nepřišli dřív“ :-)
