Madman the Greatest is a UK recording artist / music producer who is the owner of Playaz Cliq Recordings which umbrellas GR8-1 Music lab & Silly Sketch Vizuels. Although Hip hop is his primary genre, he has a habit of exploring other genres including electro house music under the alias, M Giggy and sometimes vocals under his fictional character, DJ Zimm Zimmah. Apart from music production, Madman the Greatest embarks on creating video projects, music engineering/mastering and creative writing.

Never liking the idea of being predictable, the artist states that he “….always tries to make music away from the trends and make something completely different to remain relevant…”. Recordings like “Do your thing” has remained a trademark anthem for the artist as in his words “…is a complete 360 to anything in music right now”. Though his first love is and always will be Hip hop, he regularly explores and is influenced by various styles that change the course of regularity. Classical, house and even swing sounds are on his list for revision. Throughout his production, his trademark sounds include Deep sub basses, heavy drums, space synthesizers & orchestral strings.

Remaining independent as a label, he is gained a reputation as for his authenticity in production and an unmistakeable presence in his vocals. Though many confuse his accent for being Americanised, he stands firm to idea that his Jamaican & West Indian heritage has allowed him to speak and rap in a “…well trained and bold manner”. He won’t deny that the influence of US Hip hop is not a big presence in his music but not in the way it’s perceived. He loves the creativity ethics and imperfect sounds used to create music especially from producers like Timbaland, J Dilla, RZA & Nottz.
